黄沙坪铅锌矿扩建的箕斗井和溜矿井位于石英斑岩体中,岩体稳固。溜矿井深从273米至56米,且与各中段平巷相联通,除56米中段井筒直径5米的为混凝土支护外,其余断面直径为3米,无支护。施工方法是165米以上用深孔分段爆破法,165米以下采用吊罐掘进,全工程无地质素描记录。施工时发现92米中段与56米中段的溜井附近平巷有涌水断裂带冒水,但未采取措施进行处理。1984年提升系统竣工试产,出现溜矿井于56米至92米一段涌水量达30(米~3/小时)左右,提升箕斗内有1/3是水,计量装置室水量大,大量的粉矿被水冲入粉矿仓,造成粉矿仓的粉
