And higenamine (higenamine) is a benzylisoquinoline alkaloid isolated from Aconitumjaponicum of Aconitum jasminoides. It is effective against heart failure and its function is similar to that of β-agonist. It can be used clinically to increase the heart rate to treat sinus node syndrome and reduce atrioventricular block for relaxing the aortic tension.
