约翰.厄普代克的代表作“兔子四部曲”引起了美国文学界及外国专家学者的研究热情。并且获得了丰富的研究成果。但是关于作品中女性人物的剖析,尤其是在四部曲中都出现的妻子詹妮斯的心路历程的变化的研究涉及尚少。而运用女性主义理论来对其进行分析解读的就更是少之甚少了。本文就将运用女性主义理论来分析詹妮斯如何从一个生活中的他者逐步转变成为一个独立自信的新型的女性形象,揭示出作者厄普代克在作品创作中的女性主义转向。
