In March 1991, the State Council promulgated the Regulations on the Administration of Urban Housing Demolition (the ”Regulations on Demolition and Relocation“), which came into effect on June 1 of the same year. Urban house demolition work therefore has law to depend on. However, some problems still have big controversies in the actual application process. This article discusses several legal issues in the demolition of urban houses. I. What are the preconditions for the demolisher to demolish the demolished house?
