Serum estradiol (E2), testosterone (T) and E2 / T ratio were measured at 12 days, 8 days and 15-30 days after admission in 12 male patients with cerebral infarction. The changes of sex hormones were observed dynamically in healthy volunteers . Results: (1) There were no significant differences in E2, T and E2 / T ratios between the two groups on day 2, day 8 and day 15 to 30 after admission (P> 0.05). (2) The ratios of E2, T and E2 / T at 2 days, 8 days and 15-30 days were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.01). There was no significant difference in T level between the second day and the healthy control group (P> 0.05). 05). On the 8th and 15th to 30th days, the difference was significant (P <0.05). Suggesting that elevated serum E2 is involved in the process of cerebral infarction. The increase of E2 / T ratio may be a predisposing factor for male patients with cerebral infarction
