中国画有三个层次:其一,状物,将所见之物再现纸上,惟妙惟肖,此为写生家之本事;其二,写景,以所绘之物呈现诗景,画家即诗家。画中之诗声色不能拘,此较写生家进一层也;其三,造境,惟表达心境,笔墨间流露出浩然之气。咫尺之内,觉有万里之遥,非气质高迈者不能及也。此较诗家又进一层耳。闲暇弄墨,解衣般礴,笔底幻出奇葩。虽一叶而俯仰向背,拂云卷舒;虽一花而韵致丰采,含露开合,无不生机勃动、变化无穷。
