英语教学的一个重要目的,是培养学生运用英语的能力。然而,多年来,受结构主义严重影响,我国英语教学过分注重形式的习得,忽视语言形式的交际功能,严重阻碍了学生交际能力的培养发与提高。本文试分析了语用学研究范围及语用失误,强调在教学中应注重培养学生的语用能力,以达到真正学好外语和运用语言的目的。
An important purpose of English teaching is to develop students’ abilities to use English. However, over the years, due to structuralism, English teaching in our country has paid too much attention to the acquisition of forms, neglected the communicative functions in the form of language, and seriously hampered the cultivation and improvement of students’ communicative competence. This paper attempts to analyze the scope of pragmatics research and pragmatic failure, emphasizing that in teaching should focus on cultivating students’ pragmatic competence in order to achieve the real purpose of learning a foreign language and the use of language.
