以旭宇为首的楷书专业委员会于2007年石家庄举行的楷书会议上提出了一个新的概念——今楷,一时间引起了人们的热议,相关报刊、杂志、网站等纷纷报道。有论者认为这是一个“劈荆斩棘,力开新途,传承历史精华,融注时代精神的现代楷书创作理念。”《今楷论纲》更是直接把其称为“时代楷书的金名牌”;而另一些论者却认为:“今楷”这一概念的提出是值得商榷的,更有论者直接宣称:“‘今楷’是一个伪问题。”真可谓:一石激起千层浪,大有“百家争鸣”之势。然而,时隔四年,似乎这一讨论的热潮渐渐冷却。那么,对于“今楷”的讨论到底谁是谁非?
