承德避暑山庄是清帝北巡和木兰秋狝时驻跸的一座最大行宫,它起建于康熙朝,经89年修筑完善,成为了气势恢宏、闻名海内外的皇家园林建筑群。而据史料记载,清帝北巡时,曾沿途修建了多处行宫,只不过这些行宫规模很小,由于诸多原因遭到毁坏,或废弃、或裁撤,行宫建筑已不存。据《钦定热河志》记载,避暑山庄之外的行宫有“喀喇河屯行宫、王家营行宫、常山峪行宫、巴克什营行宫、两间房行宫、钓鱼台行宫、黄土坎行宫、中关行宫、什巴尔台行宫、波罗河屯行宫、张三营行宫、济尔哈朗图行宫、阿穆呼
