香港同各国与内地的经济差距正在缩小,这是全球一体化、高科技发展之大势所趋,也是好事,大可不必因此就惊呼香港将被边缘化的。香港毕竞是上世纪50年代艰苦奋斗发展起来的新兴经济体,至今仍拥有为各国各地区可望而不可及的综合优势。但不可懈怠,要懂得贵在要有自知之明,知己知彼.方能百战不殆,只要香港社会成员发扬香港精神,和衷共济,实事求是,肯定会在21廿纪新的实现条件下把香港经济的发展推向一个新阶段。
The economic gap between Hong Kong and all other countries and the Mainland is shrinking. This is a trend and a good thing for the globalization and high-tech development in the world. It is not necessary to be scared that Hong Kong will be marginalized. Bi Jing, a Hong Kong-based emerging economy that worked hard to develop in the 1950s, still possesses a comprehensive advantage that is unattainable for all regions and regions. However, as long as Hong Kong people carry forward the spirit of Hong Kong, work together with the community and seek truth from facts, we will certainly push Hong Kong’s economic development to a new condition under the new conditions of the 21st century stage.
