豫马铃薯一号(郑薯五号)原系谱号“8284混20”,由郑州市蔬菜研究所以高原七号为母本,郑762—93作父本杂交育成。1993年河南省品种审定委员会审定定名。 该品种早熟高产,生育日数65天左右,春季一般亩产2000—2500公斤,秋季1250公斤左右,高产可达4000公斤以上,增产潜力大。株型直立粗壮,株高60厘米左右,分枝1—2个,生长势较强,花白色,能天然结果。单株结薯4块左右,块茎椭圆形,脐部稍小,黄皮黄肉,芽眼浅而稀,块茎大而整齐,商品率极高,适宜外贸出口。休眠期短45天左右,耐贮性较好,退化轻,轻感卷叶病毒,较抗霜、茶蟥螨及疮痂病。蒸食品质优,干物质含量19.18％,淀粉13.42％,还原糖0.089％,粗蛋白质1.98％,维生素C13.89毫克/100克。该品种在河南省已成为主栽品种,在四川、河北、广东、黑龙江等地表现良好,深受广大农民及消费者的欢迎。该品种适应性强,适宜二季栽培及山区一季栽培。
