一九七三年第四期上发表的《490发动机曲轴止推垫片脱落的修复》一文,在修理中,对垫片脱落后立即发觉停车检修的尚可应用。但垫片脱落往往发现较晚,常造成第五道主轴瓦上座下盖两侧不规则的严重磨损。若用此法修复,即在轴瓦盖槽内和下止推垫片间加入一定厚度的铜皮来恢复曲轴的止推间隙(0.05~0.28毫米),常因轴承盖缺口已磨坏,下止推片凸缘铆上后也起不到定位作用。又由于轴瓦上座下盖两侧磨损不规则,止推垫片铆上后其接触面积也较少,所以运行一段时间后垫片就会松动,止推间隙就会变大,而且每次换瓦时都必须重铆
