How should Chinese historiography develop in the first century? This is a hot topic of concern to historians. The abundant historical accumulation, solid academic foundation and innovative requirements of the times give us sufficient reason to believe that there will be an unprecedented development and prosperity of Chinese history in the 21st century. However, the social transformation determines that historical study itself will undergo a major change. That is to say, traditional historical studies will gradually be shifted to infiltration with other disciplines and new disciplinary areas where history and its adjacent disciplines are interoperable and interdependent, such as Chinese legal history, The history of China’s population and the economic history of China are rapidly developing with strong vitality. However, history is an empirical discipline. The historical material is the basis of historical research. It is not enough to study the history of the Qin and Han dynasties only by using the handed down documents. The archaeological materials and the book of Jian silk are indispensable historical materials. The newly published “Bamboo Slips of Han Tombs in Zhangjiashan” provided the most primitive information for studying the legal system, the penalty system, the principles of civil law and the political and economic systems in the early Western Han Dynasty. It also studied the similarities, differences, links and changes in law between the Qin and Han dynasties The best historical data. In addition, there was a detailed record of judicial proceedings, statutory instruments, calendars, medicine and funeral rituals. The series of written notes compiled by this magazine are partly touching the above issues
