The European Nuclear Research Organization’s Large Hadron Collider will be launched. The most complex and exciting scientific experiment in history will be the simulation of the Big Bang. In experiments, superconducting magnets accelerate protons and ions to near the speed of light, and collide with each other to produce temperatures and energy that are close to one-trillionth of a second after the Big Bang. Some scientists pointed out that this experiment will be an opportunity for physics to open up the treasures of matter and the universe, and there are also people who worry that experiments may produce microscopic black holes and make the world come to an end.
