利用胆固醇液晶(CLC)涂覆于垂直腔面发射激光器(VCSEL)表面,将其作为VCSEL输出偏振调控单元,测量并分析了CLC-VCSEL的I-P特性、不同抽运电流下的偏振输出特性以及功率输出稳定性。实验结果表明,同一工作温度下,CLC-VCSEL的阈值电流比单独VCSEL的阈值电流增加了0.35 m A。CLC-VCSEL的偏振态对注入电流非常敏感。当注入电流为1.4 m A时,CLC-VCSEL表现出优良的功率稳定性能,在LCLC=4.62~5.95 mm范围内,获得了有效的圆偏振光输出。
The liquid crystal (CLC) was coated on the surface of a vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) and used as a VCSEL output polarization control unit to measure and analyze the IP characteristics of CLC-VCSEL, the polarization output characteristics under different pumping currents and the power Output stability.
