The Environmental Impact Assessment and Research on Water Leakage at Baotou Steel Tailings Mine, undertaken by the Institute of Environmental Quality, General Research Institute of Metallurgical Industry, passed the appraisal on June 20 under the auspices of the Environmental Protection Department of the Ministry of Metallurgy.
