Our country is a “Shangwen” country. If the books from ancient times are brought together, the number of them can not be described. In fact, books have experienced many catastrophes and vicissitudes, and there are countless things left. Qin Shi Huang ordered the burning of books. This is the first book in history. In 213 BC, in order to crack down on the political opposition, Emperor Qin Shi Huang adopted the recommendation of Prime Minister Li Si, ordering that the history books in his possession, with the exception of the history of the Qin State, all the historical records of other nations were burned. The Confucian literature and the books of various scholars, such as “Poetry” and “Book”, are all burned out by private individuals except those collected by doctors. Only medicine, shì, books that are used for superstition, and books that plant trees are not burned.
