Cervical cancer is the most common malignant tumor in developing countries. There are nearly 500,000 new cases worldwide each year, of which about 13,000 cases are reported in China, accounting for 28.8% of the global incidence. According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), in 2008, 11070 cases of cervical invasive carcinoma of the cervix were reported in the United States. The number of cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) in cervical cancer was about 4 times of that of invasive carcinoma. Such as cervical cancer cases can get early diagnosis, the 5-year survival rate of up to nearly 100%, 5-year survival rate of locally invasive cases dropped to 92%. The overall 5-year survival rate of cervical cancer is only 73%. The overall 5-year survival rate of cervical cancer in China is 70.93%, slightly lower than that in the United States. It can be seen from these data that the prognosis of patients with cervical lesions beyond the range of the cervix deteriorates sharply. Therefore, cervical cancer is a completely curable malignant tumor, and the key to cure is early diagnosis.
