《语文课程标准》中明确地提出,中小学阶段“口语交际”的总目标:使学生“具有日常口语交际基本能力,在各种交际活动中,学会倾听,表达与交流,初步学会文明地进行人际沟通和社会交往,发展合作精神”。在课程目标第四学段(7-9)年级口语交际中,分八条用近250字对口语交际能力详加表述,可谓要求明确、具体。但中小学生实际的口语交际能力差劲的令人担忧。
