Late on the night of 13 February 1974, on the coast of the French peninsula of the Brittany on the Atlantic coast, the 218-meter tower of the French Broadcasting Association, located near the city of Morlaix, collapsed as the earth-shaking sound of loud noise erupted. This incident, created by a group of national fanatics, instantly turned 300,000 televisions on the peninsula into a pile of waste. When the television tower once again stand up, it took a full year. During the year, a series of subtle changes took place in the lives of residents: the number of flu deaths among primary school students dropped significantly, wedding receptions were extended, and bookstore revenue soared.
