SARS改变了人们的生活习惯,使人们更加注重个人卫生,减少外出,呆在家里的时间大大多于往常。由此,人们的媒介消费习惯也发生了巨大的变化。户外媒体及电影院的媒体都遭冷落,同时电视、报纸、广播、网络等媒体的受众群都有不同程度的增加。尤其是电视,非典期间国内六大城市都有超过50%的居民比平时更多地收看电视,在灾情最严重的北京,这个比例超过了70%。
SARS has changed people’s living habits, people pay more attention to personal hygiene, reduce outings, stay at home much longer than usual. As a result, people’s media spending habits have undergone tremendous changes. Outdoor media and cinema media have been neglected, while television, newspapers, radio, Internet and other media audiences have varying degrees of increase. In particular, more than 50% of the residents in the six major cities in China during the SARS period watched television more than usual. In Beijing, the worst affected area, the figure exceeded 70%.
