OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of Astragalus Polysaccharide on inflammatory response and its mechanism by studying the effects of astragalus polysaccharides on the adhesion of neutrophils to vascular endothelial cells and adhesion molecules. METHODS: Human neutrophils or human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) were treated with astragalus polysaccharides or astragalus polysaccharides plus IL-1 TNF, followed by protein dye staining to study the effects of drugs on neutrophils and endothelial cells.
