“这西瓜真是太甜了!”在日前举办的第十七届大兴西瓜节上,一位外国朋友在品尝之后,发出由衷的赞叹。正如大兴区委副书记郑默杰向记者介绍的一样:“今年大兴的西瓜口感更甜,品种更多,用途更广泛。”更为重要的是,大兴区利用小西瓜做大文章,欲走国际化之路。大兴是中国西瓜之乡,素有“绿海甜园”的美誉,“大兴西瓜”早已成为京城百姓信赖的品牌,在国际上也有良好口碑。每年五月末六月初在北京如期举办的大兴西瓜节,成功引入市场化运作机制,办出了自己的特色,至今已连续举办了十七届。
“This watermelon is so sweet!” At a recent session of the 17th Daxing Watermelon Festival, a foreign friend made a heartfelt admiration after having tasted it. As Daxing District Deputy Minister Zheng Momo told reporters: “This year, Daxing’s watermelon tastes sweeter, more variety, more extensive use.” More importantly, Daxing District, the use of small watermelon big article, want to go international the road. Daxing is a hometown of Chinese watermelon and is known as “Green Sea Sweet Garden”. “Daxing Watermelon” has long been a brand trusted by the capital people and has a good reputation in the world. The Daxing Watermelon Festival, scheduled to be held in Beijing in late May and early June of each year, has successfully introduced the market-oriented operation mechanism and put its own characteristics into practice. It has held 17 consecutive sessions so far.
