On June 28, Huawei set itself apart from the fierce competition with many world famous communications equipment manufacturers. Brunei Telecom (JTB) formally awarded Huawei Brunei Telecom the entire network reconstruction project with a total contract value of nearly 20 million U.S. dollars. JTB will be exclusively provided by Huawei. The whole network transformation based on the solution of Huawei U-SYS is the first large-scale commercial acquisition of the domestic NGN system in overseas markets, indicating that the domestic NGN products possess world-class competitiveness. At present, Huawei is actively engaging in commercial cooperation with many operators at home and abroad in the field of NGN. The official signing of Brunei’s project proves once again that Huawei has reached an international leading position in the technical and commercial aspects of NGN
