One of my greatest pleasurcs while I lived in China last year was myinteraction with other teachers. My colleagues at Shanghai Jiao Tong Universityand my graduate students, many of whom were teachers in other colleges anduniversities, were a constant source of good ideas, meaningful experience, andhumorous companionship.
