福建马尾,原是一个小渔村。特殊的地理位置,被公元前494年的吴王夫差发现,而择地造船,开始了最初的港口活动,成为令世界航海家耳熟能详的“中国塔”。小渔村逐渐发展成一个港口小城镇。 这里曾经有过辉煌的过去:中国造船、航空工业的发祥地;中国近代海军的摇篮;中国船政学堂的诞生地,走出了严复、邓世昌、詹天佑、萨镇冰、陈绍(?)等一批中华英才。然而,由于历史的原因,至1985年1月国务院批准在这里设立福州经济技术开发区时,说她是个镇,却仍然是民谣“自古马尾一条街,风吹黄沙散满天”的景象,失去了昔日的光泽。
Fujian Mawei, was originally a small fishing village. The special geographical location, discovered by Lord Wu in 494 BC, chose to build a ship and started its first port activity, making it a “China tower” familiar to the world’s navigator. Small fishing village gradually developed into a small port town. There was a glorious past here: the cradles of China’s shipbuilding and aviation industry; the cradle of the Chinese navy in modern times; and the birthplace of China Shipping School of Administration, a batch of enterprises such as Yan Fu, Deng Shichang, Zhan Tianyou, Sa Zhenbing and Chen Shao (?) Chinese talent. However, due to historical reasons, when it was approved by the State Council in January 1985 that Fuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone was established here, she said she was a town but still the scene of the folk song "Old Pratie Street, Lost the luster of the past.
