Objective To investigate the effect of lactulose injection on constipation in patients with severe craniocerebral injury and coma. Methods Eighty patients with severe craniocerebral injury and coma were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group (40 cases) received intragastric administration of fructose lactose and lactofibrate; the control group (40 cases) received gastric tube injection of water and abdominal massage. During the observation period, no other laxative drugs were used. The defecation of the two groups was observed after 7 days. Results The treatment group showed no adverse reactions. The effective rate was 87.5% and the effective rate was 100.0% in the treatment group. The effective rate was 60.0% and the effective rate was 72.5% in the control group. Significant efficiency and efficiency between the two groups were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Stomach nasal feeding lactulose can effectively prevent constipation in patients with severe traumatic brain injury.
