Sumitomo Chemical announces to expand its polypropylene (PP) compounds plant inZhuhai, Guangdong province.The Zhuhai PP compounds plant started operation in 2009, with a capacity of 10thousand tons per year.The company plans to double the production capacity to 20thousand tons per year.Furthermore, Sumitomo Chemical intends to build a new PP compounds plant in China’s northregion.The site selection work is under going, possibly in Tianjin or Beijing.
