溶剂脱沥青过程是一种重要的渣油深加工技术,溶剂脱沥青过程发展的关键是合理利用脱油沥青。脱油沥青生产道路沥青是合理利用脱油沥青的技术方案之一,通过采用一定的技术手段,国内多数渣油通过溶剂脱沥青可以生产出合格的道路沥青。如通过控制适宜的脱沥青油收率,孤岛、二连等渣油的脱油沥青可以达到合格道路沥青的要求。通过在渣油中掺兑一定比例的催化油浆后溶剂脱沥青,可以使一些渣油的脱油沥青生产的道路沥青的质量大为改善,如大港渣油、二连渣油等。此外,通过在渣油中掺兑催化油浆后溶剂脱沥青还可以从一些不可能生产道路沥青的高含蜡渣油中生产出合格的道路沥青,如南阳高含蜡渣油。渣油溶剂脱沥青技术作为改善道路沥青性质的重要技术手段还可望在国内高等级道路沥青质量提高( 如降低蜡含量) 中发挥作用。
