生活不能没有目标,目标不能没有方向。在非洲撒哈拉沙漠的深处有一片美丽的绿洲,里面居住的土著老百姓几千年来从来就没有走出过这片沙漠。他们尝试了无数遍,但就是走不出去。有一天,一位英国探险家来到了这片绿洲,很奇怪这儿的老百姓从来没有离开过这片绿洲,因为他用了三天的时间就从外面走了进来。为了了解原因,他让土著人牵上骆驼,带上粮食,寻找走出沙漠的道路,他跟在后面进行观察。结果,土著人在沙漠中走了十五天也没有找到出路,又回到了原来的出发地点。这位冒险家明白了,土著人之所以走不出去,是因为他们一走进沙漠就失去了方向,所以就在原地打转。他告诉土著人,让他们每天晚上朝着北斗星的方向前进,永远不要偏离那颗星星。结果三天以后,土著人就走出了沙漠。
