一、教学内容
陕西省旅游出版社三年级下册Unit 4 How do you come to school? Let's learn,Let's play,Let's try部分。
二、教材依据
本套英语教材是根据教育部颁布的《全日制义务教育、普通高级中学英语课程标准(实验稿)》规定的小学毕业应达到二级水平的要求,由专家和一线优秀教师组成的教材编写组精心编写的。根据小学生的年龄、心理特点和生活实践,教材的编写注重激发和培养学生学习语言的兴趣,通过形式多样的话题、丰富多彩的语境活动、活泼有趣的儿歌和歌曲,加上课文中生动、幽默的卡通图画,让学生在听-说、听-做、读、写、玩、演、唱过程中轻松愉快地感知英语学习、学习英语,达到掌握英语、运用英语的目的。更重要的是本教材能培养他们在与人交往过程中的自信心和英语交际能力,既开发了智力,又培养了他们的综合素质,为中学英语的学习奠定了良好的基础。
三、设计理念
1、改变传统教法,寻求创新课堂。
《英语课堂标准》要求教学过程是师生交流、共同发展的互动过程。在教学过程中要处理好传授知识和培养能力的关系,注重培养学生的独立性和自主性,引导学生质疑、调查、探究,在实践中学习,使学习在教师指导下成为主动地、富有个性的过程。
2、学生主体,激活课堂活力。
学生是学习的主体,要充分发挥学生的能动作用,应密切联系生活实际,在真实情景中让学生学习如何就人们日常出行方式进行提问和回答。通过师生互动、生生互动充分调动学生的情绪,激发学生学习兴趣,培养学生的创新意识和发散思维能力。
四、教学目标
1、 能听、说、认读并会使用短语: on foot, by bike, by car, by bus, by train。
2、 能听、说、认读短语:by plane, by ship, by subway。
3、 能正确运用句型:How do come/go to there? I go to there……
五、教学重点、难点
a) 掌握短语:on foot, by bike, by car, by bus, by train的用法。
b) 掌握单词subway的发音。
c) 能正确运用句型How do you come to…? I come/to … by bike/bus/car…进行交流。
d) 本课时所学短语和句型在实际生活中的正确运用。
六、教学准备
教学挂图、录音机、单词卡片、交通工具图片、玩具自行车、小汽车、公共汽车、火车、飞机等。
七、教学过程
Step 1 Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello,Miss Bai.
T: Nice to see you again.
Ss: Nice to see you,too.
T: Do you have a happy summer vacation?
Ss: Yes,we do. What about you, Miss Bai?
T: I'm happy, too. How are you today?
Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you?
T: Very well, thanks.
(设计意图:课前师生进行简单的会话,既可以拉近师生间的距离,又可以培养学生在真实语言情景中进行自由交际的能力,使学生快速融入到英语学习中。)
Step 2 Warming up
T: Let's sing an English song: Nice to see you again. OK?
Ss: OK!
(设计意图:师生共同演唱,缓解了学生的紧张情绪,打破了“开口难”的局面,为下一步的学习营造了一个轻松、愉快的环境。)

Step 4 Presentation
T: Today we will learn Unit 4 How do you come to school?
1. Let's start.
T: I come to school by bike. What about you? 出示玩具自行车)
S1: Me too.
S2: I come to school by bus. (出示玩具公共汽车)
S3: I come to school by car. (出示玩具小汽车)
T: good! Look at these pictures. There are many ways to go somewhere. Do you know what they are?(出示let's start 部分的教学挂图,用直观的图像将学生带入了新的情景之中)
2. Let's chant.
T: Open your books. Look at the chant and listen to the recorder carefully, please. Then, read after me.

T: Listen, read and chant together.
(师生边唱边做动作:唱到on foot 时跺脚;唱到 by bike / car / bus / plane / train 时举起相应的玩具)
3. Let's learn.
(1) T: How do I come to school? I come to school on foot.(边走边做回答提示,接着提问一个学生) How do you come to school?
S1: I come to school by car. (出示玩具小汽车)
S2: I come to school by train. (出示玩具火车)
T: OK! Now let's look at these picture of vehicles, then answer my questions, please.(教师指图片,学生用英语表达,随之板书)
