With the development of globalization, higher requirements for college English teaching are put forward. English teachers in ordinary engineering colleges and universities are faced with opportunities and challenges. Based on the background of English teaching research, this paper analyzes the current situation and predicament of college English teachers’ professional development, To analyze, effectively promote the professional growth of college English teachers.
