1947年7月6日,南京中山陵发生了震惊蒋介石政府的将官哭陵事件。抗战胜利后,国民党政府陷入困境,不得不大规模整编军队。蒋介石借此排除异己,一些非嫡系的军官即被列为编余,达16万人之多。下级编余军官被遣散后,有的流落街头,有的卖妻度日,有的忧郁而死,有的被迫自杀。没有遣散的大多被集中在中央军官训练团,人称军官总队,经培训后送往地方安置。600来名将级军官编入将官班,他们大都是老黄埔,有的年事已高,
July 6, 1947, Sun Yat-sen Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Nanjing, Chiang Kai-shek government shocked the generals cry Ling incident. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the KMT government was in trouble and had to massively reorganize the army. As a result, Chiang Kai-shek eliminated alien self-inflicted dissidents and some non-military officers were classified as rattles, reaching as many as 160,000. After the lower ranks of the officers were dismissed, some living in the streets, some selling his wife, some melancholy died, and some were forced to commit suicide.
