铀,是一种极为稀有的放射性金属元素,在地壳中的平均含量仅为百万分之二,其形成可工业利用矿床的几率比其他金属元素要小得多。铀矿资源是特殊的战略资源,是关系我国核军工与核电发展的战略物质,是生产核材料的重要原料。同时国家对其勘探、开发实施统一管理和监督。为保证我国铀矿资源规范、有序开发,保护环境,必须对铀矿三废进行处理,因为其中含有残留的放射性物质,像铀、钍等的放射性子体,如果不经过处理,会造成长期的放射性污染。其中对铀矿三废进行了论述并且就治理措施提出了一定的看法。
