2007年,红线女从影60周年;2008年,红线女从艺70周年。从2005到2007,红线女艺术中心一直在默默地进行红线女电影艺术的资料搜集和开拓性研究。从2007到2008,广州一直在静静地筹备着红线女从艺70周年的庆典活动。2008年5月,一场突如其来的特大地震,不仅深深地震撼和感动了全中国乃至世界人民,也改变了红线女的思路。为了响应政府节约一切可以节约的人力物力和财力支援灾区的号召,她一再缩减活动规模,直至最终,全盘取消了今年所有的庆典活动,将活动不定期地推迟到明年以后。红线女,不愧是“劳动人民的红线女”。但是,2008,我们不能忘记红线女的这一特殊的奉献。为此,本刊特辟“红线女电影”。专栏,以此最简约的方式,纪念红线女从影60周年和从艺70周年、回报红线女对中华民族的一片深情和对电影艺术的独特贡献。
