This article reports the clinical and radiological features of 3 patients with central nervous system vasculitis and the outcome of treatment. Example 1: 40-year-old man, a few weeks because of headache treatment, drowsiness and incoherent 24 hours before hospitalization. Two weeks after hospitalization, his consciousness deteriorated and his left hemiparesis appeared. CT brain scan was normal. Bilateral carotid angiography showed moderate and small cerebral vascular stenosis, the latter was “beaded” shape. Treatment with prednisone, the first 40 mg daily, after gradual reduction of up to 4.5 months and given azathioprine, 150 mg daily, a total of 4 months. Healed, no recurrence.
