靳卫红:你从什么时候开始做女性主义方式的作品?又是因为什么呢?李心沫:我从2006年转向当代艺术,最初关注人权的问题。2008年开始做女性主义的作品,因为发现女权在中国是个更大的问题。靳卫红:在中国,几乎每个女性主义艺术家的背后都有一个故事。你后面也有吗?李心沫:当然。我发现我的前半生都是处于问题当中,比如我出生在一个父权的家庭,然后恋爱,包括婚姻,都会相遇两性之间的一种紧张的关系。后来我在反思,发现,那不只是我个人的问题,而是整个社会的问题。
Jin Weihong: When did you start to do feminist works and why? Li Xinmo: I turned to contemporary art in 2006, initially focusing on human rights issues. Feminist work started in 2008 because finding women’s rights in China is a bigger issue. Jin Weihong: In China, there is a story behind almost every feminist artist. There is also behind you? Li Xin Mo: of course. I find that my first half lives are in the middle of problems. For example, I was born in a patriarchal family, and then love, including marriage, meets a tense relationship between the two sexes. Later, I was rethinking that I found out that it is not just my personal problem but the problem of the whole society.
