I. INTRODUCTION When metal is partially eroded in the electrolyte, the corrosion current of the local anode of the metal flows into the surrounding cathode region through the solution. The potential equalization electric field around the local electrode is caused by the solution IR, as shown in Figure 1. The reference electrode was scanned by the micro reference electrode on the surface of the corrosion sample and the other reference electrode far away from the corrosion point. The change of the IR drop of the solution between the two reference electrodes was measured due to the change of the corrosion current. When R is constant, it reflects the electric current that flows with the current in the solution
