First, the basic equipment type Air-to-air heat recovery equipment is divided into two common types: 1. The regenerator heats the hot air flow and the cold air flow alternately through the heat transfer surface. This type can also be divided into a fixed type and a rotary type. In the stationary type of the regenerator, the hot air flow and the cold air flow alternately enter the heat exchanger periodically. The rotary regenerator maintains the same flow direction for both the hot and cold gas streams. The heat exchange device rotates and the intake and exhaust gases pass through the opposite direction. Rotary heat exchangers are used more widely than stationary heat exchangers because they are suitable for heating
