Some people vividly compared the Bund to a huge gorgeous “living room” in Shanghai. For hundreds of years, guests and friends from all walks of life approached the audience and watched endless repetitions and changes brought by the flow of the Bund. Everyone looked and understood this “living room” from their own perspective. Over the years, this “living room” has carefully and prudently pursued creativity and richness while carefully maintaining its integrity and classicism. Zhongshan Road on the 9th Building is being interpreted “transformation”, that is, this “living room” a manifestation of the evolution. The French postal building, completed in 1939, is being transformed into a new museum in Shanghai.
