我国是制造大国,但不是制造强国。在过去30多年的市场经济发展中,中国制造企业大多是采用短期的价格竞争策略来应对同质化的产品市场竞争,而单靠价值链末端的产品创新或服务创新还不足以使“中国制造”在国际竞争中取胜。所以,企业服务创新不但是工业经济向服务经济转型的阶段性要求,还是我国从制造大国转向制造强国的必然之选。一如财政部财政科学研究所应用经济学博士后盘和林在《企业服务创新及其绩效研究》中所言,“制造业企业之所以要开展服务化,是因为服务创新能够有力地帮助制
