At the same time, the marriage age of the Chinese people also shows the characteristics of diversity. The women in the Tang Dynasty can be as young as 11 Marriage, up to twenty-four five-year-old married, there are women do not marry the end. The Tang Dynasty had both the impact of early marriages in the Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, more social stability, the existence of late marriages after the economic boom, and the unmarried marriage and the heavy marriage under the concept of heavy salaries. The marriage age of the Chinese people fully demonstrated the social openness and tolerance of the Tang Dynasty. Although Taizong and Xuanzong had promulgated the provisions on the age of marriage for both men and women twice, these provisions are not binding on the Chinese people.
