南京大学的地学教育发挥学科齐全之优势,以地球系统科学理论为指导,突破学科界限,强化基础,注重实践创新,培养适应“人地和谐发展”需要的交叉学科人才。历经9年的“大地学”教学改革实践,设置了地球系统科学的重要基础课,加强实验室实践教学,建立野外认知、定点观测与系统分析的实习基地,拓展国际教学实践交流,切实加强了大学生的早期科研训练。通过系列教学活动,培养了一批具有宽基础和创新能力的大学本科毕业生,为实现南京大学建设国际一流大学的目标,起到了积极推进作用。
The geosciences education of Nanjing University takes the advantages of complete discipline, guided by the theory of earth system science, breaks through the boundaries of disciplines, strengthens the foundation, pays attention to practice and innovation, and cultivates interdisciplinary talents who adapt to the need of “harmonious development of man and nature”. After nine years of “Earth Learning” teaching reform practice, we have set up an important basic course in earth system science, strengthened laboratory practice teaching, established an intern base for field cognition, fixed-point observation and systematic analysis, and expanded international teaching practice exchanges Strengthen the early scientific training of college students. Through a series of teaching activities, a batch of undergraduate graduates with a wide range of basic and innovative abilities have been cultivated, playing a positive role in promoting the goal of Nanjing University in building a world-class university.
