The article expounds the necessity of using information technology to transform traditional enterprises in the background of economic globalization, as well as the content and emphasis of using information technology to transform traditional manufacturing enterprises. The article discusses the information through the CIMS application demonstration project of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. The benefit that the construction brings to the enterprise points out that the enterprise informationization is a continuous process.
