Denmark farmed salmon has nearly a hundred years history, is the world’s production pond salmon fishing one of the major countries. Salmon products are selling less than 7% of their total output in the domestic market and the rest are sold abroad. Exports of live fish, fresh fish and frozen fish, but also fertilized eggs, fry and fish species, made only a small amount of canned exports. Danish salmon products are exported all over the world.
