由中国硅酸盐学会(东道主)、南斯拉夫采矿地质冶金工程师和技术员协会、联合国工业发展组织、英国《工业矿物》杂志主办的第二届世界非金属矿物会议,将于1989年10月在北京召开。为遴选参加该世界会议论文及进行一次建国以来范围广泛的非金属矿行业的科技交流,定于1988年9月21～24日在武汉召开全国非金属矿学术会议。主办单位为:中国硅酸盐学会、中国非金属矿总公司和武汉工业大学。大会筹备工作由第二届世界非金属矿物会议学术委员会秘书组承担,秘书组仍设在武汉工业大学。
The Second World Conference on Non-metallic Minerals, sponsored by the Chinese Society of Silicate (Host), Yugoslav Mining Geology and Metallurgical Engineers and Technicians Association, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and British “Industrial Minerals” magazine will be held in Beijing in October 1989 . In order to select and participate in the conference proceedings of the conference and conduct a scientific and technological exchange in a wide range of non-metallic mineral industries since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a national non-metallic mineral academic conference will be held on September 21-24, 1988 in Wuhan. Organizers: China Silicate Society, China Non-metallic Mining Corporation and Wuhan University of Technology. The preparation for the conference was undertaken by the secretarial team of the Academic Committee of the Second World Non-metallic Minerals Conference and the secretarial group was still located at Wuhan University of Technology.
