The results of the “Research on Rock Fracture Water Movements” completed by Qian Xiaoxing, Yan Ankang, Zhou Zhifang, etc. of the Department of Engineering Survey of Hohai University were awarded the third prize of the Ministry of Water Resources’ scientific progress award in 1991. The research team of the research group combined theory with practice and fully considered the complexity of the geological conditions, the heterogeneity and anisotropy of the medium, and established conceptual models and mathematical models based on specific structural features.
