近百年中国政治史,革命与改良构成了社会发展的主旋律。传统上,人们在研究中一般是褒革命而贬改良,但从中国近代历史发展的总进程来考察,我们不难发现,革命与改良实是中国近代化进程中不可分割的两个方面。从这个角度来考察清末革命派与立宪派的活动,无论从双方的目的或性质上看,都具有更多的同一性。
In the past century China’s political history, revolution and reform constituted the main theme of social development. Traditionally, people generally praise and revise the revolution in their studies. However, based on the general process of the development of modern history in China, it is not hard to find that revolution and improvement are actually two aspects inseparable from the process of China’s modernization. From this perspective, we can see that the activities of the revolutionary and constitutionalists in the late Qing Dynasty have more identity in terms of the purpose or nature of both sides.
