在外刊选读的基础上进行新闻英语网上教学可以弥补外刊教材的某些不足和印刷版外报外刊相隔数日才能看到的滞后状况 ,有助于学生了解今天新闻英语的全貌。目前一些英语教师开始利用因特网讲授新闻英语。本文立足于电话线拨号上网这个比较现实的起点 ,借鉴信息产业界的经验 ,提出把现有多媒体教室建成经济实用的新闻英语上网教室的设计思路和使用原则 ,让耗资巨大的多媒体教室在新闻英语教学中发挥作用。
News English online teaching based on the selection of foreign newspapers can make up for some shortcomings of the foreign language teaching materials and the lagging status of the print foreign language newspapers a few days later, which helps students understand the whole picture of today’s news English. At present, some English teachers begin to use the Internet to teach news English. Based on the relatively realistic starting point of dial-up on the telephone line, this paper draws lessons from the experience of the information industry and proposes that the existing multi-media classrooms should be built into the economical and practical news English language classroom design ideas and principles of use so that the multimedia classrooms, Teaching play a role.
