为保持涵洞的正常使用 ,应经常对其进行检查。洪水和冰雪季节之前要对所有涵洞全面检查一次。检查内容一般有 :涵洞上、下游洞口及洞内有无淤塞、冲刷、积水 ;涵洞有无开裂 ;填土有无沉陷 ;涵底涵墙有无漏水 ;洞口翼墙是否完整 ;沉砂井有无淤积 ;洞口铺砌有无冲刷脱落等问题。
